Parenthood in my next journey

Believe it, i am already nearing due for my first pregnancy. The journey had allot of ups and down. Changes in mood, hormones and husband-wife relationships. I knew i was pregnant just 1 week before leaving to india that was on the 8.2.2012. I was 2 months pregnant by then.

First i could not believe it. I was reluctant to take the home pregnancy test. Then instinct grew stronger, and i did. Even after seeing the positive result it was still hard for me to accept it. So i left to see a doc during lunch time to confirm the result. And yes, true enough i was confirm pregnant.

Now i am in my 35th week journey. Had a recent news that the baby's cord is around the neck. Got home and hit the net to find out more about this. Well, it seems is natural but at some very very rare cases it has been proven to be dangerous and life threatening. But i am looking at the positive side of it. Believing that all is well.

Well, wondering whats the sex of the baby? Its a BOY !!! My god, i grew up among sisters. No brother. He passed away and i really do not know what the feelings of having a boy in a family. Big time changes. Its gonna be a good experience for me. Dr said that the baby has position himself down and it looks like an early delivery.

I hope my baby could hold on a little longer and grow in full term before he tries to push himself out faster to this world. I just want the best for him.

Getting back to the trip to india, well my first wish has already been fullfiled. I visited Amritsar, Golden temple. Its so beautiful. When i was there, its like the whole world was there. I went during the cold season. The temprature was about 2 degrees.

Its a place i would recomend those who love travelling to go. Maybe, just maybe you might bring back something special with you. As for me, the journey initially was only 4 of us. But this little one came just at the right timing and such a lucky child to visit all the holy places before stepping into this world.
